Before transforming an organisation, you first have to understand it.
The best decisions always begin with a clear understanding of reality.
Our aim is to analyse your organisation, operations, service culture and guest experience to identify where the real gains lie.
An audit is a measurement, not a verdict.
The VAULT audit does not look for culprits. It looks for causes. We observe what actually happens at every touchpoint, then compare those observations with the standards expected by the brand and by the market.
The outcome is never a theoretical document. It is a basis for decisions that leadership and front-line teams can both act on.
- Establish an objective, unvarnished picture of operations.
- Identify critical gaps between standards and practice.
- Rank levers by impact and by effort.
- Deliver an actionable roadmap.
Three complementary angles on the same organisation.
The process describes how we work; these three angles describe what we examine: the internal mechanics, the experience the guest actually receives, then the gap between the two. None is sufficient on its own. Only together do they make the diagnosis usable.
Operational audit
We examine the machine: how work is actually organised, department by department, at peak hours as much as quiet ones. You get a precise reading of what holds, what holds only by exception, and what no longer holds.
- Team organisation and remits
- Procedures followed, procedures worked around
- Service flows and management tools
Experience assessment
We follow the guest journey end to end, then set what we observe against what people actually say: online reviews, feedback gathered on site, comments from the teams. Feelings are treated as data, not as impressions.
- Guest journey, from booking to departure
- Touchpoints and moments of truth
- How guests and teams feel, in their own words
Identifying gaps and priorities
The first two angles meet here: what the business promises, set against what it delivers, gap by gap and with figures behind it. You then know where to begin, and in what order to continue.
- Measured gap between promise and delivery
- Critical gaps separated from tolerable ones
- Sequencing and dependencies between workstreams

Frequently asked questions.
Is the audit right for every business?
Yes. Each engagement is tailored to the size, maturity and objectives of the organisation.
How long does an engagement last?
It depends on the scope of the work and the type of business.
Do you only carry out operational audits?
No. VAULT Audit also covers the strategic, organisational, human and commercial dimensions. Financial and revenue dimensions, however, are not covered.
Does the audit have to lead to a further engagement?
No. You remain entirely free to implement the recommendations with your own teams or to continue with HORECA VAULT.
What the audit changes.
